NVIDIA POWERS VR

Virtual reality requires an incredible amount of graphics performance—up to seven times that of a normal PC game.
NVIDIA has built a powerful platform to enable gaming and professional VR developers to meet these computing demands.

NVIDIA Pascal-based GPUs provide industry leading performance and are architected specifically for virtual-reality with Simultaneous Multi-Projection and Pre-emption capabilities. NVIDIA’s graphics drivers and platform software enable a great out-of-box experience for VR games and professional applications. NVIDIA VRWorks SDK provides developers with the best performance, lowest latency, and plug-and-play compatibility for VR headsets and applications.

NVIDIA® VRWorks ™

The VRWorks suite of APIs, libraries, and engines gives application and headset developers the tools to create a new level of presence by bringing realistic graphics, audio, physics, and touch to virtual reality. VRWorks also includes components that cater to VR environments like CAVES, immersive displays, and cluster solutions.

Key components of VRWorks are being adopted by industry leading graphics engines such as Unreal Engine 4 and Unity 5 to provide developers an easy path to taking advantage of the SDK in their games and applications.

In addition, VRWorks includes SDKs that accelerate 360 video capture and processing as well as enhance professional VR environments like CAVES, Immersive Displays & Cluster Solutions.

VDSDFDSF

VRWorks DirectMode as well as Simultaneous Multi Projection (SMP) features are supported in DX12. You can therefore leverage Multi-Resolution Shading (MRS), Lens Matched Shading (LMS) and Single Pass Stereo (SPS) in your DX12 based applications.
