Key Account Manager – Consumer Products - UK

Location: UK – Home office based

PNY has over 30 years of business experience serving consumers, B2Bs, and OEMs worldwide. Available in over 50 countries with 20 company locations throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, our products are sold at major retail, e-tail, wholesalers, and distributors worldwide.

We are looking for candidates to manage PNY key customers in the UK with particular focus on Retail/Etail channel and Distribution partners.

The successful applicant will integrate with the UK team and be supported by the PNY EU HQ; working from home office, travelling to visit customers and prospects as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to the following):

  • Achieving revenue targets
  • Developing customer relationships
  • Opening new customers
  • Product sales to existing and new customers
  • Managing range and promotional listings
  • Customer business reviews
  • Sales strategy implementation
  • Contract and proposal management

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years consumer electronics sales (Retail an advantage)
  • Excellent communication, team work and relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of UK Retailers & Distributors
  • Local market/channel knowledge
  • Positive and inspiring
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Sales/Business experience of a retail environment

WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

  • Experience in consumer storage products and PC components
  • Deep knowledge of selected Retailers
  • Be creative and autonomous
